Ronald Elliott Moseson deceased
4 July 2014
Ronald Elliott
Moseson
October 8, 1942
- July 4, 2014
Obituary for
Ronald Elliott Moseson
Ronald Elliott Moseson, a beloved and devoted
husband,
father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend died unexpectedly on Friday July
4, 2014, at the age of 71. He was born on October 8, 1942 in Tacoma,
Washington. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1960 and went on to attend
Western Washington University.
He was in sales most of his life
as he was a natural born salesman. It was a perfect job for someone who was
such a people person. He always saw the good in everyone and it was not hard
for everyone to see the good in him. He was so genuine. In 1980, Ron founded
Remco Distributing and became a very successful business owner for thirty years
until his retirement in 2010.
He met the love of his life,
Beverly Allison, in 1960 at Sunnyside Beach. He showed up at her house the next
day and needless to say, they have been together ever since and celebrated
their 50th wedding anniversary this past December. They both felt so lucky to
have one another. They had a very special and enduring love.
He was an incredibly loving father
and grandfather, always encouraging and uplifting. He loved coaching and
coached both his children for many years. He was a wonderful role model for not
only his children and grandchildren, but for all the kids that were lucky
enough to be coached by him.
Ron loved the game of golf. An
avid golfer right up to the end, golfing eighteen holes the day before he
passed. Thirty years ago, he started an annual golf trip to Arizona with three
of his friends and every year the group got larger and eventually ended up some
years with up to thirty guys. He loved organizing it and looked forward to it
every year. He will be dearly missed by a countless number of golf buddies. He
enjoyed many years and many friends as a member of Oakbrook Golf & Country
Club.
He loved the many summers with his
friends and family at his condo at Crescent Bar Resort and he enjoyed the past
few winters at his home in Arizona that he purchased at retirement. He had a
great sense of humor with a lightning quick mind. Always the jokester, he kept
us smiling and laughing all the time. Remarkably thoughtful, helping so many
people in so many different ways. He was a very proud man with more character
than anyone I have ever known and was highly respected by all that knew him. He
will be missed deeply. We love you, dad.
Ron is survived by his devoted
wife Beverly; daughter Tammy and her husband Donnie Eaton; son Todd Moseson and
his wife Teresa; grandchildren Brady, Tanner and Taylor Moseson; sister Linda
and her husband Frank Poston. At Ron's request, a private memorial service will
be held at Mountain View Funeral Home in Lakewood, Washington. A celebration of
life party to be held at a later date.
